Bags of asbestos have been dumped in a leat near an east Devon village, the Environment Agency has said. It said it had launched an investigation after two builders bags of asbestos sheets were found in the Mill Leat, on the River Clyst, near Sowton, which were thought to have been dumped about 20 November.
